Peterson: Life Saver
Vikings running back Adrian Peterson will miss Sunday’s game against Oakland with a torn ligament in his knee. That likely will keep Eric Dickerson's single-season rushing record of 2,105 safe for at least another year. That might also have saved a woman’s life, too.
Because we all know what happened to former record holder. (click)
Guess Peterson also saved a young waiter’s life, too.

Yea, it'll only be a matter of time before Marshawn Lynch passes Peterson in yardage, as I dont see Adrian getting off the pine anytime soon. The Vikings may have gotten the most exciting player in the draft, but they also drafted the kid voted "Most likely to have gout, muscular dystrophy and multiple myeloma before age 20" in high school.
I really enjoyed hearing the local radio show loons flip their positions on Peterson justlikethat, going from "Damn, the Cardinals were idiots for not drafting AD!" to "See? That's why you don't draft AD!" in the span of a weekend.
You're playing both sides! [/Connery]
