Del Taco: Where Business Gets Done
With Torii Hunter on the verge of signing a $90M deal, you would figure he would pick a restaurant a little bit better than Del Taco. But that's where the Angels negotiated the deal, at the Del Taco off Serfas Club Drive in Corona, right near where yours truly grew up. (Actually, it was a Naugles back then.) And it was Angels G.M. Tony Reagins who picked the spot. Smart, too, considering that Del Taco is an Angels' sponsor. If Reagins really needed to impress Hunter, he would have picked the Del Taco in Barstow, which is hands down the best DT in the world. Reagins also could have picked Miguel's Jr., which is right down the road but he knew that he would have run the risk is running into one of the DiPaolo or Hetland brothers. And that might have ruined the whole deal.

That's the one, Y2J.
Diane, that Naugles, like most of them, is now a Del Taco. You can tell the old Naugles by the fireplace (now a planter) in the center. Yeah, I know too much about this.

Ah man, I miss Del Taco... At first, I always thought it was odd to get a taco, a burger laden with mustard (I think all chains used to go berserk with the mustard) and some fries for a meal, but after 5-6, uh, years, it was just accepted as normal.
NAUGLES RULED!!!!!!! WASHINGTON AND ROSEMEAD IN PICO RIVERA!! BEST HANDS DOWN. DT IS COOL, BUT NAUGLES WAS WAY BETTER!!!!!!
