Super Bowl Buzz Kill: Titans

Your team isn't going to the Super Bowl, so why have any optimism? The Hater Nation brings you back to reality with the Super Bowl Buzz Kill. Why your team won't win the Super Bowl:

Tennessee Titans

Vince Young was one of the most exciting players in the NFL last season, no doubt. But there have long been questions about his, um, mental acumen. Young allegedly scored a six on his Wonderlic test, putting him in the same percentile as your average French fry. Imagine how hard it is to be considered the dumb one when Pacman Jones is on your team?

Young did nothing to change that perception at practice on Wednesday afternoon.

Young got into a fight with a teammate at practice and threw a punch—with his throwing hand. Admirable that he was protecting a teammate, but just stupid. Actually, that’s not just stupid, that’s Gus Frerotte stupid. Vince should get himself a copy of Bull Durham immediately. In addition to learning a few clich├ęs, he will know better than to throw a punch with his throwing hand.

That’s what Tim Rattay is for.

Some also might point out that Vince Young is the cover boy of Madden 08. But with decision making like that, the Madden cover jinx is the least of his worries.

Is there a team more dependent on one guy more than the Titans?

I'm not sure they're as dependent, but I'd love to see the Colts play through half a season with whoever the hell their backup is (Sorgi still?) at QB.

I'm considering demanding a trade... I know I can start anywhere in the league

isn't the running joke around here that sorgi shows up to games drunk?

How pissed are you that you already did the Vikings buzz kill because of all of the bridge jokes you could have done?

NFL Adam said...

That is an awful thing to say. We would never take advantage of a tragedy like that.

Alright, yes, kind of pissed the Vikings SBBK is done. I heard the Vikings rented a boat that rammed into one of the bridge's beams. But that's just us.
