Congratulations Chargers
You have managed to become the worst organization in the NFL. Not an easy task, but when you are taking the Raiders sloppy seconds in coaches, you have earned that honor. And hey, if you are going to pull a defensive coordinator out from the NFL's offices, why not go all the way and add Art Shell, too. Not only that, Norv Turner was such a bust in Washington that he was replaced after 13 games in 2000. The guy who replaced him? Marty Schottenheimer. Turner's career record: 58-82-1 (9-23 with the Raiders).

This move actually makes perfect sense. They will throw away next year with Norv so that they can fire him once Bill Cowher is done with his one-year sabbatical.

I disagree with this hiring. at least norv gets to go to a place where there is talent! He had nothing valuable in Oakland. It's a shame that they hired him, it makes more sense than hiring dennis green though. Chargers go 10-6
