Brady Speaks: SEC Sucks

Tom Brady, one of the patron saints of The Hater Nation, does not believe that Florida deserves to be in the BCS title game. And if there is one thing Brady is against, it is a team reaching a championship game under shady circumstances. Brady unleashed on Florida and the SEC.

"Anyone who has seen (Florida) play realizes it is a no-brainer. Florida is not very good. I watched that game (Saturday) night and that other (Arkansas) quarterback completed like three passes the week before. They have 18 guys out there throwing passes for Arkansas," Brady said. "Besides, the SEC produced losers like Peyton Manning. While the Big Ten had me, Tom Brady. Now who has the best conference?"

Alright, that last part was made up. But just barely.

When a reporter countered that Michigan already had its shot at beating the Buckeyes, Brady said, "But that's not the way the BCS works. It is supposed to be the two best teams in college football. I would vote for Michigan to play Ohio State if I had a vote."

Brady does have a point. And because of that, there is a new Last and Ten! Thanks to the Last and Ten crew, Lil' Hater and Rob in Tampa.

Last time I checked the Hater Nation is about hating the Raiders and Brady aka Mr Tuck Rule most certainly qualifies as one of the most beloved figures in Hater Nation history

If only Brady had really said that last bit about Peyton. And let's not forget the awesomeness that is Danny Wurffel.

Tom Brady voting for Michigan is about as a no brainer as Ron Zook being the ONLY Big Ten coach to vote Florida #2 when the majority of the starters at Florida are kids he recruited and promised that one day they could be playing for a championship.

Brady is correct on all counts, and he'll be proven right when Florida gets rolled up and down the field. The game is going to be a joke. OSU will coast to #1, Michigan will coast to #2, and the big sports story the next day will be, "Well, shit, we shoulda just had the rematch."

I kinda knew there would be no rematch, regardless of USC's defeat because no way in hell would there be an interconference matchup in a bowl game.

Anyway, if there is a college playoff, how long until we hear this:

"P-PLAYOFFS? Don't talk about, Playoffs? You kidding me, PLAYOFFS? I just hope we can win a game..."

Florida has no chance. The media knows all.

What happens if they had a rematch, Ohio State makes some adjustments and the Buckeyes win by 18 points. Then you have a Florida team saying that they deserved a shot. Or worse, if Michigan wins, how do you vote them No. 1 seeing that Ohio State's only loss was to Michigan?

tom brady and danny weurfell death match. only way to solve this.

Someone should have NCAA 2007 settle this.

Someone do Michigan-OSU in the NC and someone do Florida-OSU in the NC game and compare the results.

NFL Adam, I'm not necessarily saying I even want to see a rematch, per se. I just want to watch good football, and in the case of the BCS game, the two best teams. And I think OSU/Florida is gonna be a dog.

There is some truth there. My only concern with a rematch is that Tressel would find a way to again out-coach Carr, and it would turn into a bigger route.

Hell, let's just put Boise State in the final.

Hey Boise-- still have a job for me?

How about this -- BCS for NCAA Basketball!
